TB Diagnosis and Treatment 2023

This 5-week course will familiarize the clinician and healthcare worker with all the aspects of tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment using an interdisciplinary and interactive approach. This hybrid course includes lectures and activities completed on your own and live interactive case management sessions conducted via Zoom weekly.

Here’s a breakdown of what that looks like:

  • Before class (~1.5 hours): Watch recorded lectures and take a short quiz to highlight key points and check your understanding.
  • During the live session (~2.5 hours): Apply what you learned before through case-based learning, discussing case studies as a class, and working through them in small groups.
  • After class (~1.5 hours): Practice what you learned in class by answering questions about a case and then briefly reflecting on key takeaways and remaining questions.
