Description

This 3-week course is designed for nurses new to TB and covers the foundations of LTBI: using a risk assessment tool and LTBI care cascade to assess, test, treat, and case manage LTBI to successful treatment completion. This online blended course includes weekly live interactive sessions (2 hours) conducted via Zoom and pre-recorded lectures and activities completed on your own before and after the live session (~3 hours).

  • Registration: June 22 – 26
  • Live Session Dates (mandatory for CE): 
    • Week 1: July 9, 9 am - 11:00 am ET  
    • Week 2: July 16, 9 am - 11:00 am ET
    • Week 3: July 23, 9 am - 11:00 am ET

Target Audience 

The course is designed for nurses with 6 months – 5 years of experience in treating patients with LTBI.  

Course Requirements 

To earn credit for this course, you must: 

  • Attend all 3 live sessions
  • Be present for at least 80% of each live session
  • Actively engage in discussion and activities for the live sessions
  • Complete all online assignments on time
  • Complete the final evaluation
